Client Terminal Issues, Payment System Updated, New Client Forum

We have several important notifications regarding potential issues with the new Metatrader terminal build, new payment system updates and a new communication method.

We thought it may be useful to clients to not only have access to our Support staff, but also a support forum where other clients can post queries and replies, so we have set up a dedicated Excel Markets forum and group at

EA support is offered within the general ForexRazor forums; however, please be aware these are in fact separate operations and companies and Excel Markets staff cannot directly assist with coding and scripting matters related to MetaTrader indicators and Expert Advisors nor can Excel Markets accept liability for reliance on information obtained in the general ForexRazor forums.

For information about payment system updates or forum links please scroll to the bottom of this post.

Metatrader Client Terminal Issues:
Please be advised that – following on the recent release of MetaTrader 4 Build 600 implemented by MetaQuotes - the folder structure within the MT4 folder has changed. In addition, the MQL4 language has changed, resulting in compatibility issues when attempting to use your installed Expert Advisors (EAs) and indicators.

If you have been upgraded to this version and are experiencing problems, you should firstly ensure all files are in the correct location: <MT4 Folder>\MQL4\ directory:

\experts - Expert Advisors (trading robots),
\Indicators - custom indicators,
\Scripts - scripts (MQL4 applications for a single run on the chart),
\include - source code MQH and MQ4 files implemented into other programs,
\libraries - libraries in the form of MQ4 source codes and EX4 executable files compiled from them.

They are used for the dynamic call of the functions contained there by other MQL4 programs,
\Images - image files for using in resources,
\files - special "file sandbox". MQL4 applications are allowed to execute file operations only within this directory.

If your EAs and indicators still fail to function correctly it is likely as a result of changes to the MQL language in which case we suggest you contact your EA provider for support or, if you have written your own EAs, you can refer to the following links for possible solutions: ( MetaTrader 4 Build 574 with Updated MQL4 Language ) ( MetaTrader 4 Build 600 with Updated MQL4 Language )

We again apologise for the inconvenience caused, unfortunately this is totally outside of our control and have conveyed to Metaquotes how unhappy we and our customers are at their handling of this release, and how severely these changes have impacted everyone.

Payment System Updates:
The migration to our new codebase that introduced a brand new deposit and withdrawal system is stabilised.  Credit and Debit cards are now processed through an improved processing gateway rather than Skrill and clients will no longer experience some of the issues associated with making card deposits via Skrill.

Please note Skrill ewallet transactions will remain available. In addition, Skrill and Credit/Debit card deposits are now processed automatically and instantly, so there is no waiting for our finance department to approve the transaction.

We are working on many new payment options, including local bank transfer methods that will make deposits and withdrawals for clients in many countries much easier and cheaper.

Unfortunately, PayPal is no longer working with Forex Brokers and we will not be able to accept PayPal payments.  We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, we were initially informed by a third party company we would be able to use PayPal by working through them; however, after fully integrating them, we were disappointed to learn that this payment method was not possible.
